UAB Ormina and VD Kepykla owned by MG Valda, a real estate management and development company, have accomplished a new bakery project in Vilnius. It is the most recent bakery in Baltic countries, accommodating a production unit and a logistics centre in one building.

UAB Ormina and VD Kepykla owned by MG Valda, a real estate management and development company, have accomplished a new bakery project in Vilnius. It is the most recent bakery in Baltic countries, accommodating a production unit and a logistics centre in one building. Total investments in the new Vilnius bakery and logistics centre project amount to EUR 9 million.
 The bakery has been commissioned by the Finnish concern Vaasan&Vaasan. It is one of the first industrial projects of this type in Lithuania.
The new bakery meets the quality requirements applied in Finland and is analogical to bakeries operating in Scandinavia.
 
The bakery is situated in an industrial area of the capital city, next to Aukštieji Paneriai. Land plot area: 2 ha; building area: 4 500 m².  The bakery building accommodates a production unit, a warehouse for raw materials, production removal, container storage, waste removal and technical maintenance facilities, as well as staff and administrative premises.
The bakery was opened in October 2008.
